Deglobalization

Reliable information is scarce. The digital flood of armchair experts and amateur theorists might be enough encouragement to seek out the knowledge of books stored in the forgotten libraries. Sadly no digital platform is safe from the AI. While the digital age drains away many things unto the forgotten void I'm rather pleased globalization has come to the forefront. Economic globalization happened after WWii when the American navy made our oceans a little bit safer. Nearly every consumable thing on Earth traveled by sea or was manufactured in China, Google it. Current events such as the Russian War has shifted focus. Moving things has becoming difficult, the global market is splintering as available resources decline. Resources including manual labor and transferring knowledge base. In short skills shortage in the miĺlenials means no one is producing the materials required to manufacture the next series smart phone or establish sustainable food security in the age of climate change.
People scurry around by their misguided conviction to make money. This means more people are going off grid, becoming self sustainable and not giving a flying fart about the global community with its redundant acronyms and expanding divide in both society, economy and technology.

The world is facing the first technology gap. A decline to supply means no new game consoles or smartphones so hold on to the current crap you own or find some malnourished third world migrant to repair it when it breaks, and it will inevitably break. With the closure of major franchises courtesy of miĺlenials wanting the easier digital option there is a reduced surplus of replacement parts.

As the generation gap increases the knowledge base decreases, the miĺlenial generation may very well be the end of the human race, maybe not extinction but their inability has negative effects going forward. First world economy is restracting because of YouTube careers, alas no pension or dental. Social media piece jobs are trending on every platform but ironically those posted videos making us less not smart are useless if nobody understands or feels motivated to implement the manual labor requirements. Waiting for the day the internet ends, the digital apocalypse...
Third world majority cannot pick up the shortfall without time allotted to overhauling the entire infrastructure to make these countries operational. So we circle back to the global economy, poor countries are rich in resources but cannot process to produce. That has been the sole responsibility of China but when it fails everyone will revert back to self sustainable environments without the desire to share or like anything. Trade will return to the old ways - I have what you need, you have what I need, let's trade.

There is more to this story but we interrupt our own broadcast with breaking news as it happens.

The Ancestors are Angry

The Ancestors are angry:

The importance of value. Watching the world change is daunting, watching people change is sad. We live in an age of digital social cults, too fearful to interact with anyone in any positive capacity instead opting to advertise our ordinary accomplishments in posts or shares. The frequency of application or popularity of something drives that something to a lower value than what the promoter claims. Announcing you earned a certificate in modern skill sets online falls in the same comparison as posting how you mastered the skill of shoelace tying. Participation ribbons are not accolades, a simple well done is sufficient because finishing 99th place in a field of 100 Participants is nothing spectacular. Miĺlenials ignore the hard line established in society; not everyone can win and there are going to be losers but that’s no reason to champion every achievement with esteem distinction.

I wrote that, just now but I could claim to have read it in an article posted to some influential platform written by some inspirational author but that would be lying and lying angers our Ancestors. Where I ce from traditional superstition tells any who believe that the spirits of their ancestors are present, need appeasing from time to time and attribute all the negativity in their life to angry dead relatives. The deceased are angry, you should be angry too. A call to the people, hear me. I am your African Braveheart, blessed by sangoma muthi I am here, same as you, angry. The current government plans and endgame of civil war. As with Zimbabwe the phases are in play:
Failure of electricity supply
Failure of food production
Super inflation
Violence against minorities
Endgame: civil war
Country ruined
This has angered the ancestors. All the corruption, lying, cheating, stealing, nepotism and everyday nasty dealings of the government needs to atonned for and the guilty made accountable. All the violation of basic human rights commited by a group of cowardly people against a nation far greater now than it ever was in the past. We overcame tyranny, warfare, pandemics, persecution and everything else the shit stick of life could fling at us; none of that stuck. Become a nation united, united against a new enemy plaguing each and every one of us. This is our country, it doesn't belong to a shit political party trying to sell it to China or Russia or Nigeria. We are South Africa, do not fuck with us. Great stuff, cheers of hooray but how does one pull all that into a plan?
Let's order lunch. There are many passionate people dedicated to their cause actively making the world suck that little less each day, they need our gratitude and support. Let's pull back a bit for a moment as I wonder if the effort is really worth the reward. The thing is these people running their organizations need to meet somewhere to lock in a plan going forward as their individual efforts lack the strength of momentum to kick off national change. I believe change the mindset of the many; just recently I witnessed the cartoon behavior illustrating my point. A local vagabond collecting plastic ware for recycling was literally run out of town by the local Community Policing Forum for reasons unclear and unbeknownst, as follows. One skinny ass street urchin dashed across the railway lines, plastic ware over his shoulder, while being pursued by a fat middle-aged Muppet driving his Ranger truck and swinging his schambok from the driverside window attempting to smack the man on foot while shouting "voetsek jou bliksim" as he braked hard to avoid mounting the embankment. As in the Road Runner cartoon an small garrison of Ranger trucks scurring around the neighborhood for the next twenty minutes playing terrible dance music really loud in search of their target while skinny ass vagabond had ducked into the bushes, waited for the traffic to disperse and went on his merry way. It's this much ado about nothing attitude that prohibits progress, the 'that's how grandpa did it' approached hasn't worked, ever...
Without the people there is nothing. An opinion of equal part common sense and genocide ponders if we really need all of them?
The greater majority remain opposed by reason of social media ignorance, another fight for another time. This is not a call to arms, this is a public service announcement. Be prepared and appease the ancestors. We have endured so much, surviving through it all defiantly. We fought in struggle to forge a worthwhile legacy, don't let the current government piss all over that. I'm not here to tell you what will happen next, that is for you to decide. I will offer a word of caution; angry ancestors are not to be ignored.

AWR14

Determined:

Having received a meme recently that read: early to bed and
early to rise makes one healthy, wealthy and wise. I declare; complete
bullshit, unless you have an exceptionally short life expectancy that advice
is, in current society application, utter bollocks. Nothing pleasant ever
happens at dawn, except for that picturesque sunrise trademarked by Disney for
the Lion King, I've watched enough nature documentaries to know the early bird
gets the worm then something eats him in a single chop. Understandably some
passionate pokies function as the essential operating system required to power
daily living in the conventional convenience, I am not one of those people. My
biological chemistry functions autonomic ally to the nature flow of the
universe - free and independent of technology. Society however cannot function
without controlling infrastructure because people are mindless drones addicted
to be told to do everything rather than thinking for themselves.
My on-going personal battle with intruding technology
has depression fallout and social solitude. My journey to free myself from
social media has been cathartic. Dumping all those profiles in the recycle bin
was liberating and difficult as I'm not entirely free from digital dependence.
The algorithms still hound me because I remain online. Their digital cult
constantly reaching for me via mail, through MLM promotion on streaming service
and every touch on my smart device. We cannot be entirely free unless we unplug
the machine, go off grid and wait for conflict. My cynical counterpart believes
life cannot exist without conflict and the concept of peace and freedom are
held at the end of the rainbows we chase. Balance, the universal force hath
forsaken us. Technological disruption of thought, sleep and motivation become
the tiny post it notes staring at you in mockery. Machines don't acknowledge
the individual. We believe in the illusion and we all grow to hate it.

Time to reflect:

News is not worth the attention it receives, who cares what
the idiot factory is doing but since it’s been a while since the fairies posted
anything other than dead squirrels in a courier package we let them loose and
they found Carte Blanche…

Ironically the world gets worse during the festive season; millennials
need to read those Christmas cards about peace, love and goodwill to all then
ask Google to translate those big words so they can post a video of themselves
complaining about uninteresting nonsense. Daily life inside the Matrix goes on
but our journey continues to reverse. Shortly after Christmas I spent an
evening in reflection with a long-time friend discussing the New Year to which their
comment was: ‘I miss the 2000s.’

That brief time before Facebook, smart phones, #opinions and
@chats, when people spoke to each other in real time and whatever else Sandi
Thom sings about in her song. Oh how I too wish to be a punkrocker with flowers
in my hair but we cannot travel back in time, physically at least; we can
always cosplay. Master Hex has an estate worthy of museum exhibition; he owns a
lot of really, really, really, like really old junk for those in our millennial
audience. So we’ve given up on the current, humanity is completely fucked so we’re
heading to the pub for a cold pint where we can wait for it all to blow over –
thanks you millennial assholes…

It’s going to be an angry year. Whether or not we choice to
explore global social intolerance seems irrelevant, who wants to read the rants
of angry fairies bordering on homicidal rage for the entire human race?

We pitched the idea to Disney; they totally loved it and
really want to make HVCU debut by like mythical creatures are considered
imaginary so like a LGBTQ transition would only make the fairies super
transparent…

The HaasVoel Cinematic Universe; maybe we’ll buy Disney and
re-brand it.

Before we go: Read books, practice safe consensual sex with
partners or alone, log off social media and go outside to enjoy the sunshine
and fresh air.

Part of the ongoing problem parents and students are experiencing with tuition in South Africa. I'm reposting the stories to spread awareness.
